Dr. Caitlin Lim
Dr Lim is fully-trained in General Surgery but has a special interest in Breast Surgery, in particular Breast Reconstruction (Oncoplastic Surgery). She plays an active role in surgical education as an ASSET skills instructor and conjoint lecturer at the University of Western Sydney. She has presented research at COSA (Clinical Oncology Society of Australia) and ASBD (Association of Breast Diseases) conferences.
Dr Caitlin Lim graduated from the University of Melbourne with MBBS (honours) and trained in the Southern network for General Surgery. She is fully-trained in General Surgery but has a special interest in Breast Surgery, in particular Breast Reconstruction (Oncoplastic Surgery).
She subsequently completed the BreastSurg ANZ Fellowship programme culminating in her final year at Royal Adelaide Hospital which is the pioneer hospital in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in Australia. She is a full member of BreastSurg ANZ, International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES) and ANZ Endocrine Surgeons.
Since obtaining RACS Fellowship she participates actively in RACS activities including the Younger Fellows Forum and has also chaired a Masterclass on Implant Reconstruction at the RACS Annual Scientific Conference. She plays an active role in surgical education as an ASSET skills instructor and conjoint lecturer at the University of Western Sydney. She has presented research at COSA (Clinical Oncology Society of Australia) and ASBD (Association of Breast Diseases) conferences.
