Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in the Australia and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons Associations. ANZES is a society of specialist surgeons that aims to achieve the highest standards in the practice of endocrine surgery. Endocrine surgery includes surgery of the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands and the endocrine pancreas. Members of ANZES are specialist surgeons (Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) with additional training and experience in endocrine surgery.
Full members of ANZES devote most or all of their practice to specialising in the care of patients with surgical disease of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, while associate members have a significant interest in endocrine surgery as part of their broader practice.
ANZES has links to the Endocrine Society of Australia, the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES), the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES), the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AsAES) and the British Association of Endocrine Surgeons (BAES).
Membership of ANZES is open to any surgeon or trainee surgeon in Australia or New Zealand who has an interest in endocrine surgery. Members are provided with a listing on the ANZES website, as well as a Membership Certificate, receive our educational newsletter, and invitations to educational events and conferences. You will have access to mentoring from some of the world's leaders in the field and a sense of belonging to our endocrine surgery family.
Full Members also have the privilege of using the ANZES logo on business cards and letterhead.
ANZES Membership is encouraged for surgeons and trainees with an interest in endocrine surgery. ANZES strives to be inclusive and to offer education and training resources that advance the collective care of endocrine surgery across Australia and New Zealand.
