Dr. Ajith GeorgeI am a General Surgeon trained from CMC Vellore, India. I completed my Surgical training in 2017, and was in a Head & Neck oncology unit for 6 years. I was dealing with oral cancer surgery with reconstruction, thyroid surgery, parotid and the rest of general surgery as part of emergency and elective work. I did also have a particular interest in Hernia surgery, trained in both Advanced Laparoscopic and basic robotic hernia surgery
I proceeded to join the Lyell McEwen and Flinders Medical Centre as a Fellow of the Breast and Endocrine Surgery units. I obtained my FRACS and joined as a Locum consultant at the Flinders Medical Centre Unit. I am keen in Thyroid surgery including Transoral Thyroidectomy, and PRA adrenal Surgery.
