Dr. Sze Ling WongDr Wong is a specialist endocrine and general surgeon in Perth. She is a passionate surgeon who has dedicated two decades of her life to her medical profession.
Dr. Wong was trained in Canada before completing 2 years of post-fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Royal Perth Hospital in Perth. She has extensive experience in all aspects of endocrine and general surgery.
Dr Wong is part of the RPH Endocrine Surgery unit who introduced Scarless Thyroid Surgery - Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach (TOETVA) to Australia. She has been actively involved in teaching as SJG Midland Hospital Supervisor for surgical trainees and holds a position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame. She was the recipient of the prestigious 2019 General Surgeons Australia Excellence in Surgical Teaching Award.
