Dr. Katherine Black

Dr Black is a graduate of the University of Queensland, and trained in Queensland to complete her Fellowship in General Surgery. She underwent further post fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. She then returned to Brisbane to gain additional experience working in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Dr Black’s main interest is Endocrine Surgery, and performs thyroid, parathyroid (for primary, secondary and reoperative cases) and adrenal surgery.
