Dr. Jayani JayasekaraDr Jayani Jayasekara is currently completing her fellowship as the Upper Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Surgery Fellow at Gold Coast University Hospital. She completed her Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales, followed by a Masters of Surgery by Research (Endocrine Surgery) where she was awarded the John Lowenthal Medal.
She underwent specialist general surgery training through the Royal North Shore Hospital training network in New South Wales to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
