Dr. David LanBreast, Endocrine & General Surgeon

Dr Lan is a compassionate and dedicated Australian trained Breast, Endocrine and General Surgeon. He studied at Monash University (VIC) and completed his advanced surgical training in tertiary hospitals in Melbourne. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2022 and undertook 3 years of breast, endocrine and general surgery fellowships at the University Hospital Geelong (VIC), Auckland City Hospital (New Zealand) and Nepean Hospital (NSW). He is also a full member of the Breast Surgeons of Australia & New Zealand (Breast Surg ANZ).

Dr Lan places integrity at the center of his clinical practice and works closely with multidisciplinary teams of specialists to ensure seamless evidence-based care. He values openness in communication and his approach to clinical care is defined by compassion with a deep understanding of the emotional and physical impact that illnesses brings  to patients and their families. He is equally committed to respect - for patients and their families, recognizing that cultural sensitivity and professionalism are crucial in every interaction. He consistently strive for excellence in surgical techniques, invests in professional development and takes an active role in teaching medical students and junior medical staff.
